The CozyPaw Journey

CozyPaw AU began in 2018 with a simple observation. Our founder, Sarah Thompson, noticed that her rescue dog Max would only sleep soundly on handmade blankets with specific textures. After experimenting with different materials and designs, Sarah created a bed that transformed Max from a restless sleeper to a contented dreamer.

What started as a personal project in Sarah's Parramatta home soon caught the attention of friends at the local dog park. They noticed the difference in Max's demeanor and requested custom beds for their own pets. Word spread quickly throughout Sydney's pet community, and within months, Sarah had transformed her living room into an impromptu workshop.

By 2020, CozyPaw had outgrown Sarah's home, moving to our current workshop in Parramatta where our team of skilled craftspeople hand-make each item with the same care and attention as Sarah's original designs. Though we've grown, our founding principle remains unchanged: every pet deserves exceptional comfort made with love and understanding of their unique needs.

Community Support

We donate 5% of our profits to Australian animal shelters and rescue organizations. Through our "Comfort for All" program, we've provided over 500 beds to shelters across Australia, helping homeless pets find comfort while awaiting forever homes.

After 15 years in textile design, Sarah combined her professional expertise with her passion for animals to create CozyPaw. She oversees product development and design, ensuring each item meets her exacting standards for comfort, durability, and style.

With a background in sustainable textiles, David sources our premium materials from ethical Australian producers. His expertise ensures we use only the most comfortable, durable, and eco-friendly fabrics and fillings for our products.
